Italy Visa Application Centre in Colombo re-opens

Effective 18 May 2020, customers can submit visa applications at the Italy Visa Application Centre in Colombo – Sri Lanka

Your safety is our priority. As part of precautionary measures, customers visiting our Visa Application Centres may be subjected to body temperature checks to assess their health conditions and required to wear face mask and gloves. Customers exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, including fever (higher than 38 degrees Celsius), cough and difficulty breathing will be allowed to reschedule their application submission for another day and will be advised to seek medical attention at the nearest healthcare facility of their choice.

Apart from the safety procedures conducted, please note that

1. Limited number of customers will be allowed inside the Visa Application Center at a time.
2. At least 1 meter of distance is required to be maintained between other co-applicants
3. Information will be strictly provided through the helpline, applicants can contact +94 114 692 642 or through emails info.italysl@vfshelpline.com, applicants requesting information will not be entertained at the Italy Visa Application Center

4. All accepted D type Visas: Family Reunion, Study, Employment, Re-Entry and for reunion with EU Citizens will be accepted without appointment from Monday to Thursday, between 08:00 hrs and 14:00 hrs. We request all our walk-in customers to be respectful of the social distancing and public rules while visiting the Visa Application Center. Third parties and family members are not allowed inside the Center if not strictly required. After 14:00 hrs no further applications will be accepted.

   Schengen visas are suspended till further notice. Legalization services are suspended till further notice.
